Year-round, ;The Highlands:
Lying within the Cairngorms National Park and a short stroll away from the centre of Aviemore, Craigellachie is important for the mature birch woodland that clothe its lower slopes and for its distinctive crag that rises to some 500 metres above sea level. There’s an abundance of woodland flowers in Spring, dragonflies and butterflies in Summer. The crags above the woodland provide a home for peregrine falcons.
