what’s on Blairgowrie and East Perthshire

On the banks of the River Ericht, Blairgowrie is Perthshire’s second largest town. Popular with golfers and anglers, it also marks the start of the 60-mile circular Cateran Trail, where walkers can retrace the journeys of brigands and cattle rustlers along the historic drove roads. Blairgowrie is the gateway to Glenshee, where you’ll find year-round access to skiing, golfing, mountain biking, abseiling, hang-gliding, paragliding and other outdoor attractions.
