Scottish golf championships

Scotland is the home of golf. First recorded in the fifteenth century, the sport was invented here, and you can still visit the Old Course at St Andrews whose ancient links date back to 1574. The world’s first Open Championship was held at Prestwick in 1860 and the courses at Carnoustie, Gleneages, Muirfield and Royal Troon are legendary.
